Jaraed Hernandez

Paralegal, Workers Compensation

Jeraed is knowledgeable in the rules and regulations of the worker’s compensation system. In his five years of experience Jeraed has helped clients obtain pensions, appeal orders from the Department of Labor and Industries, appealed vocational dispute resolution (VDRO), and assist attorneys with Superior Court trials. Receptionist

As a receptionist, Gabriela listens to new clients’ legal questions and sets the consultation with the attorneys. Gabriela is a task-oriented person focused on prompt service. She mails out time loss and settlement checks and ensures we are obtaining medical records for both worker’s compensation cases and personal injury cases.

Lizeth is a self-starter occupying dual roles as bookkeeper and legal assistant in Smith Duran Law. She is a notary public majoring in Law & Policy at the University of Washington with academic honors. “Liz” is bilingual and glad to use her skill to help Spanish-speaking clients.

Nancy is a part-time legal assistant who brings to our office a variety of skills from her past careers practicing law, managing business trade associations, and administering an international church organization.  Nancy is mostly retired and assists in redacting estate planning documents for Laurel’s clients.
